Leonardo Torribilla has diverse work experience in various companies and academic institutions. Leonardo started their career as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Microeconomics at UCAB - Catholic University Andrés Bello from 2015 to 2017. Leonardo then worked as an intern at Tecnología Financiera (Financial Technology) in 2017. Later, they served as a Quantitative Analyst and Research Analyst at BancTrust & Co. in 2019. During the same year, they also worked as a Professor at UCAB.
In 2020, Leonardo joined Banesco Seguros where they took on roles as an Actuarial Pricing Associate and a Strategic Planning Specialist. At Banesco, they were responsible for pricing insurance products, analyzing macroeconomic and market trends, and managing business intelligence projects in the insurance sector.
In 2018, Leonardo began working as a Professor at the Central University of Venezuela, where they continue to teach.
Most recently, Leonardo joined Loads in 2022 as their Finance & Pricing Leader. In this role, they are involved in finance and business forecasting, financial and strategic planning, and designing pricing schemes through statistical modeling.

From 2012 to 2018, Leonardo attended Universidad Central de Venezuela, where they pursued a degree in Actuarial Science. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science.
In 2014, while still studying at Universidad Central de Venezuela, Leonardo enrolled in UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, where they pursued a degree in Economics. Leonardo completed this degree in 2018, alongside their studies in Actuarial Science.
In 2018, Leonardo returned to Universidad Central de Venezuela for additional training. Leonardo participated in a program focused on Data Mining and Statistics, further expanding their expertise in these areas.
In 2022, Leonardo enrolled in a Nanodegree Program called "AI for Trading" offered by Udacity. This program allowed him to delve into the field of Quantitative Finance and explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and financial markets.
Additionally, Leonardo has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In August 2022, they completed the Nanodegree Program in AI for Finance offered by Udacity. In the same year, they also completed the "Numerical Methods for Engineers" course offered by Coursera. In 2021, Leonardo obtained the "Scrum Fundamentals Certified" certification from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile. In the same year, they completed the "Differential Equations for Engineers" course offered by Coursera and the "Inheritance and Composition: A Python OOP Guide" course provided by Real Python. In 2020, they obtained the "Stochastic processes" certification from Coursera and completed the "Financial Engineering and Risk Management Part I" course. Lastly, in 2018, Leonardo obtained the "Big Data Business" certification from Fundación Telefónica.
Overall, Leonardo has pursued a combination of academic programs and certifications to develop a strong foundation in Actuarial Science, Economics, Statistics, Data Mining, Quantitative Finance, and related fields.
