Additionally, Nicky Line has worked as a Creative & Product Director at Feather & Black and a Freelance Retail, Buying, Design & Brand Development Consultant at Nicky Line Consulting. They also have experience as the owner and founder of www.BedNest.com.au, where they successfully launched an online brand selling custom-made upholstered beds and headboards. In the earlier years of their career, Nicky Line worked as a Freelance Retail and Brand/Commercial/Creative/Product Development Consultant at Nest Projects Australia, Head of Buying, Product & Design at OZ Design Furniture, Senior Product Development Manager at Marks and Spencer, and Category Buyer at Superdrug.

Nicky Line attended The King's School, Canterbury from 1989 to 1991. Afterward, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History from Durham University from 1992 to 1995.
