Luke Birdeau

Luke Birdeau has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Luke is currently employed as a Principal Software Engineer at Lob since May 2020. Previously, Luke was the Co-Founder of Intwixt, Inc. from 2015 to 2020.

Prior to Intwixt, Inc., Luke worked at TIBCO Software Inc. from 2004 to 2014. Within TIBCO, they held various roles including TIBCO Fellow, Senior Vice President, and Principal Architect.

Before TIBCO, Luke was the Co-Founder and Chief Architect at General Interface from 2002 to 2004. Luke invented a browser-native approach for delivering stateful, large-scale Web applications and designed the first Web-based research tool for Human Genome Scientists. Luke also created General Interface, a component-based framework for building Single Page Applications (SPA).

Luke's career started at Viant where they served as a Lead Architect from 2000 to 2002. Their responsibilities included redesigning banking portals for Lehman Brothers and Bear Stern, participating in sales meetings as a technical resource, and architecting various Web-based systems for clients such as Universal Music Group and American Airlines.

Luke Birdeau attended Brigham Young University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Luke also studied at the Marriott School of Management, where they obtained a Master of Organizational Behavior degree in Business.
