Caitlin Gallagher has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Caitlin began their career as an intern at America's Promise in 2013, where they worked on partner and youth engagement. Caitlin then joined Teach For America in 2013 as a Campus Campaign Coordinator for recruitment. In 2014, they transitioned to a 5th & 6th Grade Math Teacher role at Jumoke Academy at the Hartford Conservatory.
In 2015, Caitlin worked as a Policy Fellow at Leadership for Educational Equity, specifically with Advocates for Children of New York. Caitlin then joined the Connecticut RISE Network in 2016 as an Innovation & Learning Facilitator, where they were also a founding team member.
In 2019, Caitlin joined Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors as a Fellow on the Advisory Team. Caitlin also worked as a Fellow in Strategy & Innovation at New Visions for Public Schools during the same year. In 2019, they embarked on independent consulting as a Strategic Projects Consultant.
In 2020, Caitlin became the Head of Growth at Local Civics. Caitlin also served as a COVID Response Fellow (Chief of Staff) at Education Pioneers. Additionally, they held the position of Director of Strategic Initiatives at New Paradigm For Education.
Caitlin's most recent role was as the COVID Response Fellow (Chief of Staff) at Education Pioneers, which ended in November 2021.
Caitlin Gallagher is a candidate for an MBA from Columbia Business School, specializing in Management and Social Enterprise. Prior to pursuing their MBA, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in American Studies from Georgetown University, where their thesis focused on "Opening Doors & Opening Minds; Cristo Rey Schools and Education Reform." Additionally, they participated in a semester abroad program at The University of Edinburgh, studying in the Colleges of Humanities and Social Sciences. Caitlin completed their high school education at the Academy of the Holy Angels, earning a high school diploma.
