Marjorie Bendeck

Marjorie Bendeck is an accomplished professional in the film industry, currently serving as Project Manager for the Open Doors CoProduction Hub and as a Pitching and Project Development Advisor at the Locarno Film Festival since June 2019. As Director of connecting cottbus since September 2013, Marjorie oversees the East-West Co-Production Market, focusing on feature film content from Eastern Europe. Additional roles include consultant and pitch trainer for the Mediterranean Film Institute, project evaluation committee member for ACE Producers, and involvement with the Berlinale in various capacities since 2003, including selection consultant and head of the selection committee for Berlinale Talents. Marjorie has also contributed to other film festivals and international projects, and possesses advanced degrees in Work and Organizational Psychology and Film Production, along with a Bachelor’s in Communication Science, Advertising, and Marketing.
