Abhishek Roy

Abhishek Roy's work experience includes working as a Principal Data Scientist at Locus since July 2022, where they hold a leadership role. Previously, they served as a Lead Data Scientist at Locus from January 2021. Before joining Locus, Abhishek worked as a Data Scientist at Locus.sh from March 2019 to January 2020. Abhishek also has experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Cologne from January 2014 to May 2018, where their work focused on inventing graphical algorithms for topological computations. Abhishek has authored several publications in the field of Topological Phases and Spin Liquids and has presented seminars at prestigious universities in Europe and the United States.

Abhishek Roy has a strong educational background in the field of Physics. From 2000 to 2004, they attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Physics and Mathematics. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2004 to 2013. During this time, they successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy degree, specializing in Physics.
