Paul Carpenito

Paul Carpenito, CISSP, has extensive experience in information security, with roles spanning various organizations and industries. Paul began their career at Cobham, where they worked as an IT Security Engineer and Help Desk Administrator. During this time, they developed solutions for major clients in the aerospace and defense sector, as well as implemented monitoring solutions for network performance. After their tenure at Cobham, Carpenito worked at Adecco Staffing as an IT Security Analyst, responsible for maintaining the organization's IT security systems and implementing projects. Paul then joined The Intercontinental Exchange as a Senior Information Security Analyst, where their responsibilities included security event monitoring and implementing a Network Anomaly Detection system. Carpenito's most recent role was at Loews Corporation, where they held positions such as IT Senior Security Consultant, IT Security Specialist, and eventually Head of Information Security. In these roles, they oversaw daily operations, managed IT security systems, and informed senior management of cybersecurity risks impacting the organization. Throughout their career, Carpenito has demonstrated expertise in safeguarding corporate informational assets and responding to security incidents.

Paul Carpenito, CISSP, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management, which they obtained from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering in 2004. Prior to that, they attended Nassau Community College. In addition to their formal education, Paul has also obtained the CISSP certification from (ISC)² in December 2006 and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Cybersecurity and Risk Strategy from New York University.
