Ernesto Cid

Ernesto Cid is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Loggi since October 2019, Ernesto founded the first developer platform team, enhancing engineering productivity and core platform services. Previous roles at Loggi include Senior Software Engineer, where significant contributions were made to the development of a new transactional event architecture and improvements in system stability. Prior experience includes Team Lead at Bluesoft Sistemas, leading a team in e-commerce projects, software development at Gocase ®, and research roles at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte and University of Düsseldorf. Ernesto holds a PhD and MSc in Systems and Computing and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, supplemented by a Data Streaming Nanodegree from Udacity.
