Steve Hale

Steve Hale has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Steve began their career in 1987 as a Programmer/Analyst at LTV Aircraft Products Group, where they provided programming support for aircraft design and manufacturing. During their time there, they developed a universal 2-dimensional vector graphics system.

In 1990, Hale joined American Airlines as a Senior Knowledge Engineer and stayed with the company until 1994.

From 1994 to 2014, Hale worked at JDA Software as a Senior Systems Architect. Steve was responsible for developing and supporting a Java J2SE Servlet web-based Workforce Management system for retail and distribution centers. Steve also served as a Scrum Master and played a key role in adopting Agile development methodologies.

Next, Hale joined BNSF Railway as a Senior Systems Developer in 1994. During their brief tenure, they played a significant role in the design of the Network Execution Plan (NEP) system.

Hale's most recent role was at Logile, Inc., where they served as the Senior Director of Engineering from 2014 onwards. In this position, they provided leadership and technical expertise for the Time and Attendance component of the Logile product line, which offers real-time workforce and execution management solutions for retailers.

Steve Hale attended Western Hills High School from 1977 to 1981. After that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 1986.
