Pavel Gonchukov

Pavel Gonchukov has diverse work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Pavel is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at Logpoint, where they are responsible for all aspects of software development for a high-load log aggregation platform with a security focus. Prior to this, they worked as a Lead Engineer at A.P. Moller - Maersk, where they were involved in building a platform to integrate 3rd party products into the Maersk digital eco-system. Pavel has also worked as a Software Engineer at Tradeshift, where they were responsible for developing and supporting build and testing pipelines. Pavel has entrepreneurial experience as the co-founder and CTO of Orangebooks.co. Earlier in their career, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at WiMark Systems, developing software products for telecom operators. Pavel has also worked as a Software Engineer at Qvantel and STC. Pavel started their career as a researcher in wireless telecommunications at Jyvaskyla University and has experience as a WiMAX engineer at Scartel. Pavel has also worked as a researcher and developer at SUAI Intel Lab, Telecommunication division, WIMAX branch. Throughout their career, Pavel has gained expertise in various technologies including AWS, GitLab, Python, Go, Scala, Terraform, K8s, Knative, Java, and others.

Pavel Gonchukov received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science and Telecommunications from Jyvaskyla University in Finland, where they studied from 2011 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science and IT Security from Saint-Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation, where they attended from 2005 to 2010. In terms of additional certifications, Pavel obtained an IELTS certification from book house in June 2011. Additionally, they have participated in StartupBootcamp, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
