Airi Särkilahti

Airi Särkilahti is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of education and research. Currently serving as a Freelance Teacher at Lohjan kaupunki and involved in water research at Kemira since October 2018, Airi has also held the position of Primary School Teacher at Lohja City since 2015. Airi’s earlier career includes roles at VTT as a Research Scientist, focusing on biomasses and their applications, and at Oy Keskuslaboratorio - Centrallaboratorium Ab, where Airi progressed from Research Assistant to Senior Scientist and ultimately to Microscopy Team Manager. Airi holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan and a Process Engineer degree from Porin tekninen opisto.
