Alicia Hernandez Lopez

Alicia Hernandez Lopez has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Alicia is currently working as a Frontend Developer at Loka since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Junior Frontend Developer at Loka from February 2021 to March 2022. Before joining Loka, Alicia worked as a Technical Consulting at Câmara Municipal de Loures from January 2019. Alicia also worked as a Junior Developer at Ironhack from October 2020 to February 2021, where they gained experience in MERN stack development and Agile methodologies.

Earlier in their career, Alicia worked as a Business Developer Executive at IberianMobility from November 2018 to May 2020. Alicia also served as a Luxury Travel Consultant and Account Manager at Tours For You from January 2018 to November 2018. Alicia's work experience also includes a role as a Marketing, PR and Sales Executive at Martinhal Family Hotels & Resorts from February 2016 to January 2018. During their time there, they managed a cross-functional team, organized events, and handled sales and marketing activities.

Alicia has worked in the hospitality industry too, holding positions such as Key Business Development Exec. at Grand Connaught Rooms and Hotel Russell; Principal Hayley Hotels and Conference Venues from September 2014 to November 2015, Groups, Conference & Events Senior Sales Coordinator at Melia Hotels International - Melia White House from September 2013 to September 2014, Sole Groups Sales Coordinator at Hilton Worldwide - Hilton London Kensington from October 2012 to September 2013, and Business Development Administrative Assistant at Hilton Worldwide - Hilton London Kensington from April 2012 to September 2012. Alicia started their career as a Front Office Receptionist at Vincci Hoteles from October 2011 to December 2011.

Alicia Hernandez Lopez's education history begins with obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism and Hospitality from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, through ESERP business school, from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they pursued an MBA in Hotel Management at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2010 to 2013.

In terms of more recent education, Alicia completed a series of workshops at SheCodes Workshops in 2020, where they obtained a certification as a Junior Front End Developer. Alicia learned CSS, HTML, VSEditor, APIs, GitHub, Bootstrap, Netlify, InVision, and JavaScript during this program.

Alicia also took part in a Java Fundamentals course at Plural Sight in 2020.

Additionally, Alicia attended Ironhack in 2020, where they acquired certification as a Junior Developer in MERN Stack. Alicia'sstudies at Ironhack focused on JavaScript ES6, React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, RESTAPIs, Express.js, HTML, CSS, SCRUM, and Agile methodologies.

Supplementing their education, Alicia obtained a certification in Web Development from Ironhack in December 2020.
