Asim Kidwai

Asim Kidwai has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Asim is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of LOKAL, a company they started in December 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Planning Engineer - Production Engineering at Kia Motors Corporation from June 2018 to December 2019. Asim also served as a Consultant - World Class Manufacturing at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles for a brief period from May 2017 to July 2017.

In 2016, Asim worked as an Engineering Intern at Siemens, where they generated cost-effective solutions for Mechanical Drives, implemented a digital Condition Monitoring program, and optimized warehouse storage. Before that, they worked as a Business Development Associate at Counselling Pakistan, where they raised funds for a non-profit college counseling platform and worked on the development of an online communication platform. Additionally, Asim gained experience in the solar energy sector as a Summer Analyst at Consultants Group, focusing on developing economical ways to implement solar energy for the middle and lower classes in Pakistan.
