Dhiran Pillay's work experience includes serving as a Project Manager at LOKE - Branded Ordering, Delivery & Loyalty Apps starting in December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Engineer at Gamuda Australia from June 2019 to July 2021. Dhiran also worked as a Retail Sales Consultant at Harvey Norman from September 2019 to December 2019. Additionally, Dhiran served as a Project Lead at the ASEAN Youth Organisation of Australia (AYO) from January 2017 to December 2018, where they organized various events and initiatives targeting local and international youth.
Dhiran Pillay completed their education in a chronological order, starting from their high school education at Wesley Methodist School where they obtained a Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) degree from 2007 to 2010. Dhiran then pursued Cambridge A Levels at Kolej Yayasan UEM from 2011 to 2012. Following that, they attended the University of Melbourne from 2013 to 2015, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Continuing their education, Dhiran enrolled in RMIT University from 2017 to 2018 and obtained a Bachelor of Civil and Infrastructure Engineering (HONS) degree with a specialization in Civil Engineering. In 2018, they attended HEX for the Global Innovation Program in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, focusing on Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Studies.
Apart from their formal education, Dhiran also attained additional certifications. In 2012, they received the Bronze Award from The Duke of Edinburgh's Award. In 2017, they became a member of Malaysian Mensa, and in 2019, they became a guest member of Australian Mensa.
