Sahil Jaidka

Sahil Jaidka has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Sahil is currently working as a Team Lead at LOKE - Branded Ordering, Delivery & Loyalty Apps, where they manage a team and demonstrates strong leadership skills. Sahil is skilled in React, React Native, and Node.js, and is able to design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications with a focus on user experience and performance. Sahil regularly communicates project progress and potential solutions to the CTO.

Prior to their current role, Sahil worked as a Full Stack Engineer at LOKE, where they were responsible for maintaining and adding features to the app using React Native and the web app using React/NextJS. Sahil also designed and created a global authentication system for the product using Golang, and created and maintained backend services using NodeJS and GraphQL.

Before joining LOKE, Sahil worked as a Software Developer at Compass Education Australia, where they created the CompassTix Usher app using Expo Go (React Native) and integrated React Native into the Compass parent app, which was built using Swift and Java. Sahil worked closely with the design team throughout the development process.

Sahil also had experience as a Backend Application Developer at DNA Talent, where they were responsible for scraping data from different sources using NodeJS, Selenium, and Python, and automating tasks using NodeJS and Express.

Sahil also gained valuable experience through a software developer internship at Deakin University FreeLancingHub, where they created PWAs using HTML, CSS, and JS, worked in a team on a part-time basis, and presented the team's work and learnings.

Earlier in their career, Sahil worked as an iOS Developer at Jugnoo, where they created the main product app using Swift and Objective-C. Sahil also developed an app for a political party from scratch using Swift and storyboard, created reusable components for the app, and integrated APIs using Alamofire.

Sahil started their career as an intern at Click Labs.

Overall, Sahil has demonstrated their expertise in various programming languages and frameworks, and has shown their ability to lead teams and deliver successful projects.

Sahil Jaidka holds a Master's degree in Information Technology, which was obtained from Deakin University from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Chitkara University between 2012 and 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Sahil has also earned multiple certifications. Sahil obtained the AWS Cloud Quest: Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2023. Sahil has also completed various certifications in programming languages and technologies, including Javascript (Basic and Intermediate), React (Basic), and SQL (Basic) from HackerRank in August 2021. Furthermore, Sahil pursued further knowledge by completing a course on Learning React.js from Lynda.com in March 2019.
