Michael Krout

Michael Krout is an experienced academic and researcher in the field of chemistry, currently serving as an Associate Professor at Bucknell University since August 2012, after holding positions as Assistant Professor and Visiting Assistant Professor at the same institution. Prior to this, Michael worked as an NIH Postdoctoral Fellow at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center from October 2009 to August 2012, under the guidance of David Y. Gin and mentorship from Samuel J. Earlier research experience includes a role as Graduate Research Assistant at the California Institute of Technology from December 2003 to September 2009 and various positions at Merck, including Research Chemist in Discovery and Undergraduate Research Assistant. Michael completed a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at Caltech and earned a B.S. in Biochemistry with minors in Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
