Zhiqun Zhu

Zhiqun Zhu is a distinguished academic currently serving as a Professor of Political Science and International Relations at Bucknell University, where tenure also includes roles as Chair of the Department of International Relations, Inaugural Director of The China Institute, and MacArthur Chair of East Asian Politics since August 2008. Zhu has been a member of the National Committee on United States-China Relations since January 2016 and has held various visiting professor and research positions at institutions such as Griffith University, the National University of Singapore, Kyungpook National University, and Shanghai University. Zhu's educational background includes a PhD in Political Science from the University of South Carolina and an MA in Political Science from Indiana State University, with an earlier BA in English from Shanghai International Studies University.
