Clare Wakeford

Clare Wakeford is an experienced HR professional, currently serving as Chief People Officer at Lomond. Since April 2021, Clare has contributed to the integration and growth of The Lomond Group, formed from the merger of Lomond Capital and Linley & Simpson. Prior to this, Clare held the position of Group Human Resources Director at Bravo Group UK, driving the people strategy during a turnaround in the insurance sector. Earlier career roles include Head of People at VictoriaPlum.com and Vitality, as well as HR management and advisory positions with Age Partnership, Ultralase, and Nestlé. Clare began a career in human resources at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust and holds a CIPD degree in Human Resources Management from The University of Salford.
