Anja O.

Anja O. is a Marine Safety Dispatcher and Ocean Lifeguard at the Long Beach Fire Department since May 2017. Anja is also an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Tampa, where Anja was awarded a $10,000 Undergraduate Research and Inquiry Grant. Anja works in the Spatial Ecology Laboratory, quantifying pathogenic bacteria in Tampa Bay through data processing and analysis. Anja is currently pursuing a Master of Science in GIS at California State University, Long Beach, after completing their Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science at the University of Tampa.
