Emergency Services Team

The Emergency Services Team at the Long Beach Fire Department is responsible for providing comprehensive emergency response services, including fire protection, medical assistance, and marine safety operations. The team is comprised of roles such as Marine Safety Dispatcher, Firefighter Paramedics, Ocean Lifeguards, and Junior Lifeguard Instructors, who work together to ensure the safety and well-being of the Long Beach community and its visitors along the shore of Lake Michigan. Additionally, the team conducts emergency incident management and quality improvement in EMS education to maintain a high standard of service.
