Fernando Haro

Fernando Haro is an experienced journalist currently serving as a Breaking News Reporter for Long Beach Post since November 2021. Previously, Fernando worked as a Copy Editor at DÍG en Español and the Daily Forty-Niner, where responsibilities included editing and managing news content. Fernando has also held positions at California State University, Long Beach as a College Advisor, focused on student recruitment and retention. Early editorial experience includes roles such as News Editor and Editor-In-Chief at El Camino College Union Newspaper, where Fernando led a team to produce engaging publications. Fernando holds an Associate of Arts degree in Journalism from El Camino College and a Bachelor's degree from California State University, Long Beach.
