YAN Li

YAN Li has a diverse and extensive work experience. YAN started their career in 2005 as a Formation des Cadres et des Dirigeants (Executive Education) at HEC Montréal. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Visiting Scholar at Tsinghua University. In 2010, they became a Visiting Professor at Chongqing Technology and Business University and later became an Adjunct Professor in MBA/EMBA programs.

In 2012, YAN Li joined CEIBS as a Project Manager in the Executive Education department, where they were responsible for business development and designing company-specific programs. YAN also held leadership roles in various global programs.

From 2013 to 2014, they worked as an Assistant Director in the Executive Education department at Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance at SJTU.

In 2014, they joined SMU as a Programme Director of Executive Development and Senior Lecturer in the Strategy & Organization department. YAN taught courses on business strategy and organization.

In 2015, YAN Li became a member of the Scientific Committee at Journal International Management.

From 2016 to 2018, they worked at International Business School Suzhou (IBSS) at Xi'an Jiaotong Liverpool University (XJTLU) as the Director of Executive Education, Professor of Practice in Strategic Management & Business Policy, and Director of International MBA (IMBA).

In 2018, they joined Nanyang Technological University as a Senior Lecturer and took on various roles including Director of Mandarin Executive Education, Deputy Academic Director of NTU-SJTU EMBA Programme, and Academic Director of Nanyang Bilingual MBA.

Also in 2018, YAN Li became a Mentor for Business Model Design & Innovation at LONGHASH.

Overall, YAN Li has a strong background in executive education, program development, leadership roles, and academic research.

YAN Li completed their education with a Ph.D. in Administration (Strategic Management and Business Policy) from HEC Montréal. YAN pursued their doctoral studies from 2004 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Finance from the Paris School of Business between 1999 and 2001. YAN Li's educational journey began with their Bachelor's degree in Practical Business English from Shanghai Normal University, which they earned from 1993 to 1997.
