Operator, Remote Operations Center at Longroad Energy

Teresa Haering has a diverse range of work experience in the renewable energy industry. Teresa currently works at Longroad Energy as an Operator in the Remote Operations Center, where they remotely monitor, maintains, and operates solar and wind sites. Teresa previously worked at Bianchi Electric as a Materials Field Engineer, traveling extensively for the Great Pathfinder Wind Project. At Blattner Energy, they served as the Site Electrical Materials and Prefabrication Manager, overseeing the receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping of electrical materials. Teresa also led a crew in prefabricating and delivering materials for a large solar generation site. Teresa worked at Primoris Services Corporation as a Quality Improvement/Assistant Logistics Manager, helping to energize a PV solar generation project. Prior to that, they were the Logistics Manager at Pure Power Contractors Inc for the Twiggs Solar Project, the largest solar power plant in the southeastern United States at the time. Teresa started their career at First Solar as a Field Tech in Operations and Maintenance, responsible for ensuring optimal performance of PV solar power plants. Teresa also gained experience in materials management at Blattner Energy and worked in various roles related to PV solar installation, surveying, and fundraising. Additionally, they studied PV Solar and Permaculture and obtained the NABCEP Entry Level Certification. Teresa's experience also extends beyond the renewable energy industry, as they worked as a Project Consultant at USC Consulting Group, where they analyzed and improved processes in nuclear submarine construction.

Teresa Haering's education history is as follows:

From 1985 to 1989, they attended the United States Military Academy at West Point and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering Technology, General Engineering, and Sociology.

In 2009 to 2011, they attended Colorado Technical University and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree.

In 2015, they completed a certificate program in Renewable Energy from Solar Energy International (SEI).

In the same year, they also obtained a Certificate of Completion in Solar PV Design and Installation from Solar Living Institute.
