Whitney Scroggins has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Whitney began their career in 2016 as a Nurse Tech at Baylor Scott & White Health, where they worked until 2017. Whitney then transitioned to the role of Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at the same institution and worked there until 2020. In 2020, they joined Renown Health as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department and worked there until 2021. Whitney then moved to Reno Diagnostic Centers, where they worked as a Registered Nurse until September 2021. In 2021, they started working at Longview Regional Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. Most recently, they joined CHRISTUS Good Shepherd in 2022, where they currently work as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.

Whitney Scroggins completed their Bachelor's of Science degree in Registered Nursing at Tarleton State University from 2012 to 2016. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Registered Nurse certification from the Texas Board of Nursing, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS), Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC), and Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC). These certifications were obtained between 2016 and 2018 from institutions such as the American Heart Association and the Emergency Nurses Association.
