Rene Aarts

Rene Aarts is an experienced IT leader with a diverse background in application services, procurement, and project management. Currently serving as the Head of Application Services Build at Lonza since November 2019, Rene previously held significant roles at Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller as the Group Head of Procurement to Production IT and at Deutsche Telekom AG as an Executive Project Manager. Prior to these positions, Rene contributed to Danone for over a decade, overseeing IT for multiple countries as the IS/IT Director DACHS and managing internal IS account functions for various divisions. Early career experiences include roles as a project manager at Atos Origin and consultant positions at Akzo Nobel. Rene holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Eindhoven University of Technology.
