Shen-An Hwang

Shen-An (Anne) Hwang is a highly experienced professional in the fields of immunology and molecular pathology, currently serving as Manager of Development Services at Lonza since March 2021. In this role, Hwang manages a team focused on analytical development and validation for cell therapy, leading cross-functional initiatives to support manufacturing. Previous positions include Senior Scientist at Lonza, where responsibilities included developing assays for cell and gene therapies, and Scientist IV at Myriad RBM, Inc., where project work involved clinical studies and platform technology advancements. Hwang's academic experience includes serving as Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Houston Medical School and undertaking a post-doctoral fellowship specializing in tuberculosis research. Hwang holds a PhD in Immunology and Molecular Pathology from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a BS in Biochemistry from Trinity University.
