Guangxiang Dai (Eric)

Guangxiang (Eric) Dai has had a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Guangxiang(Eric) has recently worked as a Senior Backend Engineer at Lookout since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Tally from August 2021 to July 2022.

Before joining Tally, Guangxiang worked at SkipTheDishes from June 2021 to August 2021 as a Senior Software Developer - Customer, and from January 2020 to June 2021 as a Software Developer - Customer. Guangxiang(Eric) played a key role in developing and maintaining various back-end features and services, as well as leading the Customer Rewards project. During their time at SkipTheDishes, they gained expertise in technologies such as Java 8, AWS, Onion Architecture, Microservices Architecture, and utilized tools such as Mockito, Junit, RabbitMQ, Maven, Jenkins, Git, and Jira.

Prior to their roles at SkipTheDishes, Guangxiang worked at IG Wealth Management as an Associate Software Developer from September 2017 to December 2017, and from January 2017 to September 2017. Guangxiang(Eric) also has experience as a Website & Office Equipment Administrator at Chengdu Jinqiao International Travel Agency Co. Ltd from October 2013 to July 2014, and as a Game Designer at Xi'an Xin Li Software Technology Co., Ltd from November 2011 to August 2013.

Guangxiang's work experience also includes a role as a Sales & Maintenance personnel at Aoge Office Equipment Company from August 2010 to September 2011. Throughout their career, Guangxiang has developed strong skills in back-end development, system maintenance, project management, and team leadership.

Guangxiang (Eric) Dai pursued their education starting in 2006 at Sichuan University Jinjiang College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2010. Later, from 2015 to 2017, they attended Red River College Polytechnic and earned a Diploma in Information Technology. In addition to their formal education, Eric has obtained several certifications, including Critical Thinking and Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn, both obtained in February 2021. Guangxiang(Eric) also holds certifications in AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA-C02): 1 Cloud Services Overview and AWS for Developers: DynamoDB, both earned in January 2021 and provided by LinkedIn.
