Alicia Nakashian has a diverse work history that began in 2014 at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Alicia started as a Fleet Project Supervisor, overseeing the management and maintenance of over 500 vehicles and small-engine equipment. Alicia then took on roles as a Paratransit Van Operator, Dispatcher Trainer, and Professional Meet and Greet and Field Trip Driver.

In 2015, Alicia transitioned to State Street, where they started as a Global Operations Analyst in the Global Transactions Processing division. Alicia later became a Client Service Specialist in the Client Onboarding Support team, responsible for onboarding new client accounts and collaborating with internal teams for issue resolution. Alicia was then promoted to Senior Client Service Specialist and Team Lead, overseeing the onboarding of new client accounts, managing a team, and leading process improvement initiatives.

In 2017, Alicia joined Loomis, Sayles & Company as a Strategic Marketing Associate. Alicia was eventually promoted to Strategic Marketing Analyst and then to Senior Strategic Marketing Analyst, responsible for analyzing productivity and marketing data, collaborating with internal teams, and contributing to the development of marketing strategies.

Alicia Nakashian began their education by completing General Studies at Algonquin Regional High School from 2009 to 2012. Alicia then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Resource Economics & Managerial Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, graduating in 2016. In 2020, Alicia attended the Harvard Extension School for a year, focusing on Computer Science. Currently, they are enrolled in the Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business Administration and Management. Additionally, they obtained a LEAN (Six Sigma) Practitioner certification from State Street in September 2015.
