Joe Slankas has had a successful career in the financial industry. Joe started their career at Merrill Lynch in 1996 as a Financial Analyst, where they worked until 1998. Joe then joined Merrill Lynch again in 2000 as a Credit Derivatives Trader, a role they held until 2001. From 2001 to 2005, they worked at HVB as a Credit Derivatives Trader. In 2008, they joined Loomis Sayles as a Convertible Bond/Credit Derivatives Trader, where they are currently employed.
Joe Slankas holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, which they obtained from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their BBA in Finance at the University of Notre Dame from 1992 to 1996. Furthermore, Joe Slankas has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in September 2009.
