Media Relations Manager, Global Communications at Loomis Sayles

Kate Sheehan has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and marketing. Starting from 2000, they worked as an Assistant Vice President at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, where they managed communications for executives and organized various meetings and events. In 2004, they joined TIAA-CREF as a Senior Writer and later became the Director of Wealth Management Communications and Director of Executive Communications. In these roles, they developed strategic communications programs, wrote speeches and presentations for leaders, and played a key role in CEO transitions. In 2012, Kate founded their own company, Kate Sheehan Strategic Communications, where they provided consultation on brand identity and strategic communications. Kate then worked as the Founder of LoveLiveLocal, a project they led from 2013 to 2019. From 2015 to 2021, they served as the Associate Director of Media Relations and Marketing at Plimoth Patuxet Museums, where they developed and implemented strategic marketing communications plans and managed media relations for the museum's restoration project. Currently, they are working as a Media Relations Manager, Global Communications at Loomis, Sayles & Company.

Kate Sheehan completed their undergraduate education from 1996 to 2000 at Brown University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations.
