Riva Gulassa

Riva Gulassa began their work experience as an Intern at Sylvia Earle Alliance in 2009, where they entered, edited, created, and curated posts on the ocean layer of Google Earth. Riva also managed, wrote, and formatted blog posts using HTML.

In 2012, Gulassa worked as an Ocean Engineering Experience Mentor and Intern at MIT Sea Grant for three months.

Later that year, they became a Course Assistant for Design Nature at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering from September to December. In January 2013, they transitioned to the role of Course Assistant for Linear Algebra/Differential Equations, which ended in May of the same year.

In May 2013, Gulassa joined Eidolon Optical as a Mechanical Engineer. This role lasted until March 2014. From May 2013 to April 2020, they simultaneously worked as a Mechanical Engineer at DOER Marine.

Their most recent position is as a Mechanical Engineer at X, the moonshot factory, starting in April 2020 and ongoing.

Riva Gulassa attended Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
