Sichun Xu

Sichun Xu has a diverse and extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Starting in 2002, Xu worked as a Software Engineer at Oracle Corporation, where they contributed significantly to projects such as the Java pricing engine and the data security project for the Advanced Pricing team. Xu then joined eBay in 2004, taking on various roles including Sr. Software Engineer and Principal Software Engineer. During this time, they led the integration of the escrow payment method on the eBay/PayPal China site and played a major role in designing and implementing the real-time messaging platform. In 2011, Xu founded MyEzApp, focusing on building the myezapp.com website and developing the innovative Star Script programming language. They were responsible for the design and development of the application framework and infrastructure setup in AWS. Lastly, Xu worked at Google as a Staff Software Engineer & Engineering Manager from 2012 to 2018 before joining X, the moonshot factory, where they currently work as a Staff Software Engineer.

Sichun Xu obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Stanford University in the year 2002. Prior to that, from 1992 to 2000, Xu pursued higher education at Tsinghua University, achieving both Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Automation.
