Brian Ko

Brian Ko has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Brian is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Loop since October 2022. In 2019, Brian worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at both Koyejo Lab and PERFORM Group, where they gained valuable research experience. Brian also worked as a Machine Learning Intern at Wave Computing, where they had the opportunity to apply their skills in machine learning. Prior to this, Brian served as a Research Assistant at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications, where they led a team in building a web crawler to analyze traffic congestion in Cairo, Egypt, and contributed to the implementation of LDA and NMF algorithms for analyzing racial discrimination in real estate websites using curated email data.

Brian Ko attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
