Cotopaxi Sprattmoran has worked in a variety of roles since 2006. In 2006, they worked as an Account Manager for Leelanau Communications Inc., where they managed client accounts, social networking, blogs, websites, and databases, as well as being an SEO and Google AdWord Management specialist. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Consultant for Shea Pita and Associates, writing role descriptions, governance manuals, and redesigning efficient organizational structures for Maori health clinics, as well as facilitating process evaluations and analyzing outcomes. In 2011, they began working at the Leelanau Children's Center as an Early Childhood Educator, designing and implementing emergent curriculum, building cooperative and supportive relationships with families, and designing lesson plans suited to each child's specific developmental needs. They also worked as the IT Manager for the Leelanau Children's Center, managing enrollment databases and websites for two preschools and Parenting Communities, collating attendance reports, and providing reporting to multiple agencies on a local and state level. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Content Developer and Manager/Social Media Manager for Parenting Communities of Leelanau County, managing social media platforms, collating, editing, and disseminating monthly newsletters, and designing and editing inter- and intra-agency documents. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Project Manager at CraveLabs, leading their team to build successful, custom location based advertising campaigns, communicating with clients before and after advertising campaigns, analyzing the feasibility of campaigns, measuring success by CTRs and engagement rates, managing media assets, and creating custom campaign reports. In 2019, they became the Co-Founder and COO of Loop Software & Testing Services.

Cotopaxi Sprattmoran has a diverse educational background. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Indigenous Studies from Colby College in 2009, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Indigenous Studies from the University of Otago in 2011. They then completed a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College in 2012, and Continuing Education in Infant Mental Health and Child Development from the University of Minnesota in 2013. Most recently, they earned a GIS Certificate in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Penn State University in 2020.
