Gill German has a diverse work experience spanning over many years.
Starting in 2007, Gill worked as an Industrial Designer at Raz Design Inc. for nearly 2 years before moving on to The Esprit Group as a Human Resources Recruitment and Training professional in 2009.
In 2010, Gill joined Beta-calco Inc Architectural Lighting as a New Product Design Engineer for a year and a half.
In 2012, Gill worked as a McDonald's Account Services Intern at Cossette for a few months.
In 2013, Gill began a long-lasting career at General Mills, starting as an Associate Marketing Manager for Adult Cereals and later taking on various roles such as Associate Marketing Manager for Adult & Child Cereals, Associate Marketing Manager for Disruptive Cereal Innovation, Marketing Manager for Yogurt Channels, Marketing Manager for Baking, New Ventures & DPD, and finally, Senior Brand Manager for Meals & Baking, Product Portfolio. During the time at General Mills, Gill had accomplishments such as managing cross-functional teams, executing successful seasonal performances, and working with agency partners for creative campaigns.
Most recently, Gill joined Loop in 2021 as the Director of Brand Partnerships for North America and then transitioned to the role of Global Senior Director for Brand Partnerships in 2022.
Gill German completed a Bachelor of Industrial Design (B.I.D) at Carleton University from 2003 to 2007. Furthering their education, they pursued an MBA specializing in Brand Management & Business Sustainability at the Schulich School of Business - York University from 2011 to 2013.
