Luiz Aoqui

Luiz Aoqui is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in engineering roles within prominent tech companies. Currently serving as a Founding Engineer at Loophole Labs since April 2024, Luiz previously contributed as a Senior Software Engineer II on the Nomad team at HashiCorp from August 2019 to April 2024. Luiz's career commenced with internships at I.ndigo, Escala Informatica, and Codus Tecnologia, where impactful projects in mobile and web application development were executed. Luiz also gained valuable experience during an internship at the Social Computing Lab at KAIST, focusing on social network analysis. Luiz holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from USP - Universidade de São Paulo and an exchange degree in Computer Science from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
