Christopher Eng

Christopher Eng has a diverse work experience in data engineering and analytics roles. Christopher currently works as a Senior Data Engineer at Loop, where they spearheaded the development of the data engineering infrastructure, implemented efficient data pipelines, and provided leadership and mentorship to the team. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Engineer at Liferay, where they built Matillion DAGs, maintained Tableau dashboards, and extracted data quality metrics. Christopher also worked at HBOMax as a Senior Analyst - Data Integrations, building data streams and analyzing data for the Marketing teams. Earlier in their career, Christopher worked as a Data Engineer and Data Analyst at Liferay, where they built ELT DAGs, developed NLP scripts, and built Tableau dashboards. Christopher also had a business data analyst internship at Power Probe TeK, where they used Excel to create financial reports and analyzed demand and forecasts. Additionally, they had internships as a Business Analyst and HR Analyst at WhiteWave Foods, where they built Excel sheets, implemented training initiatives, and analyzed labor data. Finally, they worked as an HR Information Systems Specialist Intern at East Valley Community Health Center, where they conducted full-cycle recruitment, administered new hire orientation, and processed payroll.

Christopher Eng has a Master's Degree in Information Systems and Decision Sciences, with a focus on Business Analytics, from California State University, Fullerton. Christopher also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with a specialization in Management and Human Resources, from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.

In addition to their formal education, Christopher has obtained several certifications. Christopher is a Tableau Data Scientist certified by Tableau Software, which they obtained in April 2020. Christopher is also certified in Analyzing Data with Python by IBM, which they obtained in November 2019. Furthermore, they hold a Tableau Analyst certification from Tableau Software, earned in November 2019. Lastly, Christopher has completed the Google Tag Manager Fundamentals certification from Google Analytics Academy in May 2020.
