Markus Wohlschlager

Markus Wohlschlager has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Markus is currently working as the Sales Director Europe at Loparex since May 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Sales - TPU Films for Textile and Performance Wear at Gerlinger Industries GmbH from February 2022 to April 2023. From September 2019 to December 2021, they worked as the Division Manager Packaging at CHROMOS Group AG. Markus also had a sabbatical from March 2019 to August 2019. Before that, they served as the Sales Director D-A-CH-NL at POLIFILM PROTECTION from January 2016 to February 2019.

Markus Wohlschlager's earlier experience includes significant roles at Klöckner Pentaplast. From August 2011 to December 2015, they served as the Business Manager Packaging Film, Print/Box Film, and Technical Films, with responsibilities for sales and marketing of various films in different regions. Markus also handled Global Key Account Management for the MULTIVAC Group. Prior to that, they held several other positions such as Business Manager Tape, Cooling Tower Films, Building & Construction; Commercial Director Central Sales Area (D-A-CH and BeNeLux); Business Manager Tape, Thermoforming, Building & Construction; Key Account Manager - Card Films; and Market Manager Building & Construction Films.

Starting their career at Hoechst AG, Markus Wohlschlager worked as a Product Manager Pigments from September 1993 to June 1996.

Markus Wohlschlager obtained their degree in Industriekaufmann (IHK Frankfurt) specializing in Marketing, Business, and Administration from Hoechst AG between the years 1991 and 1993. Before that, they pursued a field of study in Business Administration and Management with a focus on Marketing & Sales Strategy at Universität Passau from 1986 to 1990.
