Pedro Borges

Pedro Borges is the current Founder and COO at LOQR. Prior to this, they served as the CTO from January 2018 to August 2019. Before that, they were the Head of Application Security at Paddy Power Betfair from April 2016 to February 2017. In this role, they were responsible for defining the strategy for driving secure application development across all Betfair products, as well as the implementation of controls in the software delivery pipeline. Pedro also led a team of application security managers and specialists responsible for secure application design and consultancy in an Agile environment, threat analysis, application security testing and assurance, and vulnerability management. Borges has also coordinated the delivery of product deployments at both a national and international level.

Pedro Borges has pursued a career in information security and systems engineering, studying at Universidade do Minho, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and Escola Secundária Oliveira Martins. Pedro holds certifications from Amazon Web Services, Linux Academy, and ISACA.
