Matthieu Karam

Matthieu Karam is a seasoned journalist and analyst with extensive experience in web journalism and international security. Since May 2014, Matthieu has held multiple roles at L'Orient-Le Jour and L’Orient Today, including Co-manager of live news and Head of the web journalism department. Previous positions include Country/Risk analyst at NIGMA Conseil and contributor at International Security Observer. Matthieu's early career encompasses research roles at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and CLEI, as well as internships with the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Interior during the 2010 Municipal elections. Matthieu holds a Master's degree in International Security from Sciences Po and a Bachelor's degree in Political and Administrative Sciences from Université Saint Joseph.
