Brynn Shaffer has worked in various journalism roles since 2020. In 2021, they worked as a Technical Writer Intern at Frontier Technology, where they wrote articles and collaborated with engineers to compile information. From 2020-2022, they were the Senior Editor and Copy Editor at Los Angeles Loyolan. In 2021, Brynn took on the role of Vice President for the Society of Professional Journalists at LMU, and, from 2020-2021, worked as an Editorial Team Leader at Our National Conversation (ONC). In 2022, they were a News Intern at Santa Monica Daily Press and a Space Journalist Intern at Supercluster. Brynn Shaffer started their education in 2011 at Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton. Brynn studied there until 2013, after which they enrolled at La Jolla Country Day School, where they completed their education until 2018. Brynn then joined Loyola Marymount University in 2018 and pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism, graduating in 2022. During their time at Loyola Marymount University, Brynn also studied at Gonzaga In Florence in 2022.
Additionally, Brynn has obtained several certifications in various fields, including data visualization, technical communication, and digital transformation. These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn, where they have also gained knowledge in managing technical professionals, SEO for social media, and effective technical communication, among other skills.
