Cheryl Barnes is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in nonprofit and public service sectors. Previously, as Recruiting and Retention Manager at the Los Angeles Mission, Barnes supported strategic HR leadership and developed targeted recruitment programs. Prior roles include Human Resources Manager at American Business Advantage Corporate Services and Senior Public Housing Manager at the Housing Authority City of Los Angeles, where Barnes managed substantial public housing resources and operated within a $6 million budget. Academic qualifications include a Juris Doctorate from Western State College of Law, attained between 1994 and 1998.
