Cori Souza has a comprehensive work experience in the hospitality and events industry. In 2006, they started their career as a Bartender at Fox Restaurant Concepts and continued in that role until 2011. Cori then served as an Event Sales Manager at The Clayton on the Park from February 2011 to October 2014. From October 2014 to May 2019, they worked as an Event Sales Manager at Phoenix Art Museum. In June 2019, Cori joined A Little Bird as a Contractor until January 2020. Following that, they became the Sales Director at Vibiana and held the position from February 2020 to October 2022. Currently, Cori is working as the Director of Destination Sales at Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, starting in January 2023.
Cori Souza obtained a BS in Hotel/Restaurant Management with a focus on Hospitality & Tourism from Northern Arizona University between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, Cori completed an Associates in Hotel/Restaurant Management, also with a focus on Hospitality & Tourism, at Scottsdale Community College from 2007 to 2009. In 2020, Cori obtained a certification in Court of Master Sommeliers Level 1 from the Court of Master Sommeliers Europe.
