Samantha Murphy

Samantha Murphy is an experienced Social Science Teacher currently working at Los Angeles Unified School District since July 2021, teaching honors and advanced courses at Verdugo Hills High School while supporting the Student 2 Student Success program. Previously, Samantha held various teaching positions, including at Bright Star Schools as a Social Science Teacher and Mentor Teacher, focusing on curriculum development for AP Government and Economics. Additional experience includes teaching at Frederick Douglass Academy High School, Lifeline Education Charter School, and serving as a Substitute Teacher and Lead Tutor. Samantha holds a Master of Education in Secondary School Administration from California State University-Dominguez Hills, along with degrees in Educational Technology and a Teaching Credential in Secondary Education Social Sciences.
