Technical Operations Support Director at LOT Polish Airlines

Katarzyna Karolczyk has a diverse work experience with various roles in different companies. Katarzyna started their career in 2011 with an internship at Instytut Gospodarki Nieruchomościami. In 2012, they worked as a Front Office Receptionist at POLTRANS before joining Avis Budget Group EMEA as a Rental Sales Agent from 2012 to 2014. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at LINETECH Aircraft Maintenance, where they held positions such as Junior Documentation and Planning Specialist, Purchasing and Logistics Specialist, Purchasing and Logistics Manager, and Project Leader. In 2018, they joined LOT Polish Airlines as a Technical Purchasing Specialist and later served as the Procurement Manager until 2021. Katarzyna then became the Deputy Technical Director (Business and Commercial Support) until 2022 before assuming their current role as the Technical Operations Support Director. Additionally, in 2020, they co-founded Flycare, a Part-21 design organization, where they guide customers through the entire process of engineering work related to STC's, SB's, Minor changes, and Repairs.

Katarzyna Karolczyk completed their education with an Engineer's degree in Aviation and Cosmonautics from the Military University of Technology in the years 2016-2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Katowicach during 2012-2014. Katarzyna'seducational journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Insurance with a specialization in Property Management also from Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Katowicach from 2009-2012.

LOT fleet consists of Boeing 737s/787s, Embraer 170s/175s/190s/195s as well as Bombardier Q400NGs. LOT was a launch carrier for the Embraer E-Jet Family (E170/175/190/195) and as the first European carrier received Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. LOT is a STAR Alliance member.
