Wendy Simpson

Wendy Simpson is an accomplished professional in research and evaluation, currently serving as the Research and Impact Lead at Lotterywest since June 2023 and an Adjunct Research Fellow at The University of Western Australia. With extensive experience at Edith Cowan University, Wendy has held multiple roles including Sessional Academic, SOAR Ambassador, and Research Assistant since February 2016. Previously, Wendy worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Telethon Kids Institute and a Senior Program Officer at the Mental Health Commission, focusing on program evaluation. Other notable roles include Coordinator of Research and Evaluation at Ngala, Senior Research Officer at Telethon Kids Institute, and Primary Health Coordinator at Silver Chain Group, where key responsibilities included managing health services and implementing evaluation programs. Wendy holds a PhD in Social Science from Edith Cowan University, along with a Master’s by Research in Disability, a Graduate Certificate in Public Health, and a Bachelor's in Community Studies.
