Danae Sugaoka has experience in various roles within the supply chain and logistics field. Danae is currently the Head of Planning and Logistics at Lotus Bakeries, where they oversee the US supply chain, including logistics, warehousing, order fulfillment, and demand planning execution for various customers. Prior to this, they worked as a Supply Chain Manager at Golden Road Brewing, where they managed production planning, material procurement, and warehouse operations for multiple brands and SKUs distributed nationwide. Danae also achieved record-breaking delivery performance and volume shipped at the company. Before that, they held roles at Anheuser-Busch InBev, including Logistics Business Process Manager, Logistics Group Manager, Brewing Group Manager, and Brewing Intern, where they managed teams, led strategic planning efforts, and ensured process and product quality. Additionally, Danae has experience as a Student Assistant at UC Davis Genome Center, where they conducted research in a lab, and as the President of Davis Collegiate Panhellenic Association, where they oversaw a student council and coordinated events. Danae also previously worked as an Intern at Terraphase Engineering Inc., where they researched storm water testing guidelines and performed cost analysis.
Danae Sugaoka earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, between 2010 and 2014.
