Yasser Nour

CTO & Co-founder at Lotus Microsystems

Yasser Nour has a strong background in analog and mixed-signal IC design and power management. Yasser has experience working in various roles, including CTO & Co-Founder at Lotus Microsystems, Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Student at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, Visiting Scientist at Fraunhofer IZM Berlin, and Visiting Scholar at imec. Prior to that, they worked as a Staff Analog IC Design Engineer at Symmid Corporation. Yasser also worked for Altera Corporation (now Intel) as a Staff Analog IC Designer, where they developed integrated DC-DC converters and power delivery ICs, supported yield enhancements and bug fixing, and conducted silicon validation. Before that, they gained experience as an Analog/Mixed-signal IC Design Research Assistant at APEARC, where they focused on power management integrated circuits design and high-frequency SMPS design. Additionally, Yasser Nour worked as an IT Staff Member at Aswan University, where they were involved in various IT projects and conferences.

Yasser Nour's education history begins in 2002 when they enrolled at Aswan University. Yasser completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2007. Afterward, from 2007 to 2010, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the same institution.

In 2015, Yasser Nour joined the DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where they dedicated three years to pursuing their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. This educational journey lasted until 2018.
