Head Coach at Loudoun Soccer

Sean Martin has a diverse work experience in the field of soccer coaching. Sean began their coaching career with Bridgewater College Men's Soccer as an Assistant Coach in 2008. Sean then served as the Assistant Boys Varsity Soccer Coach at Harrisonburg High School from 2008 to 2010. In 2009, they worked as a Head Coach/Assistant Coach at Shenandoah Valley United. From 2010 to 2015, they joined James Madison University Men's Soccer as an Assistant Coach. In 2012, they briefly worked as a Head Coach at Soccer Organization of Charlottesville/Albemarle (SOCA). In 2015, they became the Head Coach at New River United and also worked as a staff coach within the club. From 2015 to 2016, they were the Director of Soccer Operations at Virginia Tech Men's Soccer. Currently, they are the Head Coach at Loudoun Soccer, a position they have held since 2016.

Sean Martin obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management, with a minor in Business, from James Madison University from 2003 to 2007. Sean then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Sport and Recreation Leadership from the same university, which they completed from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, Sean Martin holds several certifications, including the US Soccer Federation C License, obtained from the U.S. Soccer Federation in March 2021, the US Soccer Federation D License, obtained in June 2019, the National Youth License, obtained from US Youth Soccer in July 2017, the US Soccer Federation E License, obtained in February 2016, the National Diploma, obtained from United Soccer Coaches in January 2016, and the Advanced Regional Diploma, obtained from United Soccer Coaches in August 2009.
