Anne Hu is a Solicitor and Law Graduate at Herbert Smith Freehills, with rotations in Private Equity/Venture Capital and Technology, Media, and Telecommunications. Currently, Anne also works as a Junior Software Engineer at JADE, an online legal research platform. Previous experience includes roles as an Associate Cloud Architect (Data Scientist) at Amazon Web Services, Research Assistant at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society, and Statistical Consultant at the Brain and Mind Centre. Anne has held paralegal positions at S&A Law Pty Ltd and Norton Rose Fulbright, and completed an internship in Biotech IP at Digi.Bio. Anne holds a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Hons I) in Mathematics and Statistics/Data Science from the University of Sydney, and has pursued further education at several institutions, including the University of Pennsylvania and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Anne is currently enrolled in an Undergraduate Certificate in Antarctic and Climate Science at the University of Tasmania.
